Mission
Simply stated, our Mission is to provide armed professionals with the highest-quality training possible as well as the appropriate field-tested products to prevail in high-risk environments.
 Background
Strategos programs & courses have been developed based on years of experience, feedback and real world missions by the founders and instructors on staff. Most tactical courses feature a very demanding “Force-on-Force training” approach. Reasons for this include the following:
- Allows the participant to train classroom taught principles and techniques
- Allows the participant to test what they have been trained previously will be successful in a realistic simulation of a realistic engagement(s)
- Allows the participant to operate, perform and effectively manage critical skills necessary to succeed while the “Sympathetic Nervous System” is activated.
- Allows the participant to test new equipment, technology, strategies, principles, tactics and techniques in a variety of environments with diverse environments and adversaries.
Our staff members frequently interact and train with law enforcement and military professionals within the first responder and special operations communities. All staff members have many years of experience in serving as law enforcement and military operators as well as having years of experience instructing military and law enforcement professionals.
It is our firm belief that merely covering the gaps in an operator's performance with a thin veneer of check-the-box-type training is futile and unproductive. Strategos International offers courses that are a wise investment for serious operators wishing to achieve the following:
· Establish a proper foundation for effective weapons handling in high risk environments.
· Increase proficiency to increase probabilities of success in real-world, high-risk environments in which adversaries think, move and shoot back.

All doctrine currently used by Strategos International is not "ours"…it is not anybody’s…
It is simply a reflection of what is in the environment, revealed through many years of intense training and actual operations.
We first and foremost give GOD the credit for what we do and how we do it. We try to remain humble in our approach and attempt to effectively serve those who serve others according to:
Romans 13 : 3-7 - 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing..
Our approach is based on concepts and strategies developed by greater warriors who have treaded the earth before our time. It will continue to evolve and change over time, as we interact with those in harms way and find more efficient ways of training and operating and as mission requirements and crime trends change.
The format in which we reveal that reality is simply our style…one style of many acceptable styles. It is a style in which we train WITH the student NOT “pontificate from on high”. We believe that the journey for operating in high-risk environments never ends and that we as instructors should also be perpetual students. We also believe that if we talk about a principle or technique, we need to be able to demonstrate what we are talking about in real-time.
When we founded Strategos International we initially were particularly focused on reduced illumination environments and still maintain an extremely strong commitment in this area of study. However, we have incrementally added additional focus areas as time and resources have permitted. We are passionate about our presentations and endeavor to approach all training sessions as servants to those who are on the leading edge of potential conflict.
Strategos International strives to maximize ones understanding of human conflict and dramatically improve their operational capabilities. The Strategos International staff regularly travels throughout the United States and the world abroad to deliver custom designed training packages for military and law enforcement professionals.
Consulting
Staff members regularly serve in a consulting capacity for law enforcement agencies, military units, colleges, governmental agencies, and corporations that require our unique consulting services.
Products
Our staff has been and/or is currently involved in law enforcement and military job assignments and/or operations. We know and depend on the products we sell. In some cases we had a strong influence on their design.
We have designed our own family of illumination tools primarily designed for use in
high-risk environments. They are released under the brand name "Night-Ops"
