Tim D'Annunzio is Paraclete's President and Chief Designer.
Mr. D'Annunzio's background includes extensive experience with U.S.
Army Gold Knights parachute jump team as well as serving as an engineer
for NASA.
The genesis
of the Paraclete opportunity was Tim D'Annunzio's decision a decade
ago to develop technologically advanced, custom designed equipment for
the specific needs of highly skilled and forward force members of the
military and law enforcement communities.
Presently, Paraclete designs and manufactures state-of-the-art military
and law enforcement personnel tactical vests and load bearing equipment
designed to help the user more efficiently and safely carry and use
weapons, communication, medical and safety equipment.
Mr. D'Annunzio is the holder of two patents:
(1) strap connector system (US Patent Number 5,259,093), and
(2) cut-away vest release system (US Patent Application Number 10,008,391)
giving Paraclete a distinct business advantage and creates a niche that
only Paraclete can legally fill. Mr. D'Annunzio leases exclusive-use
rights to Paraclete Armor & Equipment for these two, highly sought-after,
patented designs.
These unique features allow the operator maximum freedom,
comfort and protection as well as providing a quick-ditch capability
when the operational requirement demands it.
Paraclete
currently uses a computer aided design system for all of our design
work. This system allows the input of existing hard patterns through
a digitizing system and the development of new designs or to refine
and rework existing designs.
Paraclete also utilizes a computer layout and cutting system. This system
allows the transfer of designs directly to our layout/marker making
computer and then to the computerized cutting and marking table ensuring
a standardized, quality product every time.
The carrying systems utilize the Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment
(MOLLE) system which provides flexibility and modularity to configure
your system to meet your emerging mission requirements.
