Active shooter critical incidents recently have seen the perpetrator attempt to barricade and lock possible points of entry for law enforcement personnel. Having the ability to quickly overcome locks, chains and other types of mechanical locking hardware quickly is of critical importance. Most active shooter incidents are over within just a few minutes after they begin. Having to wait for breaching equipment to arrive on scene IS NOT an option.
Response time is absolutely crucial when responding to these sorts of critical events.
