Atlantic Signal, LLC

The staff and ownership of Atlantic Signal have been in the field of tactical headset communications for nearly 20 years – most recently as the management team of New Eagle Marketing International.

Atlantic Signal was formed several years ago by one of the original designers and developers of the world’s first bone conduction tactical headset (originally sold by its manufacturer under the name “New Eagle”) and by the president of a company with over two decades of experience in designing and providing overt and covert communication products to military and law enforcement customers. The founding members of Atlantic Signal, recognizing that available products were not sufficiently flexible or adaptable to address the needs of many customers, joined forces and developed a fresh new line of tactical communication headsets, options and accessories that allowed for customization from the head frame to the connection on the radio and everything in between.

Developed in 2000, Atlantic Signal’s first tactical headset was the “MH3” which was, and remains, the world’s first and only, four-way adjustable tactical bone conduction headset. The concept was unique – to develop headsets that featured completely adjustable frames which could be user manipulated for personal fit and comfort. It was with the introduction of the MH3 that the company exposed itself to the tactical community. Initial acceptance and subsequent implementation of the MH3, by both military and law enforcement operators in the U.S. and abroad, was swift. Two additional headset lines were designed in 2004 and brought to the market in early 2005:

The MH180, the world’s only bone vibration tactical headset offering an operator the choice of four stainless steel head frame lengths.

The MH180-S, similar in its design platform to the MH180 but specifically designed for snipers – providing an unobstructed cheek-weld.

In response to a growing trend among operators who wanted tactical hearing protection, the company introduced the PANTHER (Professional, Amplification, Noise- Reduction, Tactical Headset [for bionic] Environmental Reproduction) in early 2005. Unlike most systems on the market, the PANTHER can be used as a stand alone hearing protection/ambient environment amplification device or integrated with the MH180 or MH180-S headset product lines. The distinctive characteristics of these systems, when combined, allow an operator to choose when and when not to employ hearing protection without sacrificing the tactical advantage of radio comms.

In 2003, Atlantic Signal also brought the “Blue Racer” to the market, the first headset designed specifically for Police and EMS Bike Units. The company plans to introduce another headset system titled the “MH180-H” in late 2005. Like its predecessors, the MH180-H can be fully customized for specific operator requirements, and features a low-profile, horizontal frame for implementation with specific styles of protective helmets.

With a core staff of personnel averaging over a decade each in the field of tactical communications with the former company (New Eagle Marketing International), Atlantic Signal will continue its mission to provide top of the line communication headsets, options and accessories, built according to the operator’s specific needs, at a price point affordable to the clients it serves.
